Macri -- Good, Bad, Ugly?

I'm trying to write a blog post about Macri, and I've read up on him a bit. As I understand it he has a strong business background, which might be good for us expats trying to do business here. But I've also heard that he may be a corrupt mafioso...

What's your perspective on the guy...?

Hi Guys,

Sorry I have been ignoring this site lately. You feel like flirting with controversy again?

This guy´s family is in construction and yeah they do not have a very nice background. Most people do know or at least have an impression that this guy is mafia or at least very influential.

However, most of the locals I talked to also noted that his ambition is to one day be President of Argentina. Someone with those ambitions is going to want to do a good job at being mayor of Buenos Aires. In other words, he is out to try to do a good job. This is in his best interest. He wants to make a big splash, make a name for himself.

En fin... I am no expert. This is just the impressions I got from talking to people.
