The pampa seco is mostly in the Province of La Pampa. The lush green place you are probably thinking of is right here in Buenos Aires Province.

Make a search on San Antonio de Areco, or anywhere around there...I'll bet you'll be very happy...and it's prolly about 30 miles out of town (BsAs)
